Collagen
Collagen is a protein found in the bodies of all animals.
Collagen—known as a “connective tissue” protein—strengthens skin, bones, tendons, and other structures throughout the body. It also binds tissues to others and helps hold everything together. Collagen is found in multiple structures of the eye including the cornea, which is the clear dome-shaped window at the front of the eye.
