In this video I. Howard Fine, MD, demonstrates the surgical steps he used to achieve excellent results in a patient with dense cataracts who previously underwent YAG laser peripheral iridectomies for angle-closure glaucoma, had very shallow anterior chambers, short eyes, pupillary synechiae and poorly dilating pupils. Among the keys to success: use very low amounts of phaco power and high aspiration and vacuum levels.
