Currently, the firm advises on regulatory issues, such as Medicare and Medicaid fraud and abuse. Federal anti-referral statues and similar state laws and related ethical guidelines. The firm's attorneys deal with billing and reimbursement issues and requests for information and subpoenas from various judicial, governmental and regulatory bodies. Clients receive guidance on issues raised by proposed mergers, physician networks, and other organizations. The ability and ensuring compliance with federal and state securities and antitrust laws. The firm also advises clients on employment law issues (such as the FMLA and ADA); group governance and compensation matters, buy-ins and pay-outs; real estate and equipment leasing; and managed care contracting.
