We are pleased to bring back the AAOE lounge this year: This is a great place to relax, get refreshments, a foot massage, exchange contact information and informally connect with practice administrators & managers from around the country.

AAOE at the Academy Resource Center

Plan to visit the Exhibition at McCormick Place, the world’s largest exhibition of ophthalmic technology, products and services. You’ll find the AAOE Practice Management Center in the Academy Resource Center [South Building — Hall A, Booth 508]. Academy experts will be on hand at the Coding Booth to give straightforward answers to your most challenging coding questions. And you can preview the extensive collection of practice management and coding resources and products for your office.

Exhibition hours are Saturday, Oct. 18 to Monday, Oct. 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Conversations with the Experts

At the AAOE Practice Management Center [South Building — Hall A, Booth 508], you can take advantage of 20-minute private consultations with AAOE consultants/practice management experts. Conversations with the Experts features over 25 consultants from the AAOE Consultant Directory, providing customized advice on topics ranging from financial management to EHR to billing to legal matters and more. Come by the AAOE Practice Management Center to make an appointment with the consultant of your choice:

Hours are Saturday, Oct. 18 to Monday, Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Ophthalmology Job Center

Reserve an interview booth at AAO 2014! Practices with an active Ophthalmology Job Center ad can reserve an interview booth to meet with candidates during the meeting. Contact Janine Barth to reserve a space.

Want to network in advance? Use E-Talk to find your peers and ask questions about the AAOE program, transportation, housing options (including finding a roommate to split the cost of housing), and entertainment activities to make your stay both productive and fun.
