Presenter

Derek A. Preece, MBA is a senior consultant and partner with BSM Consulting, based in Orem, Utah. Mr. Preece consults with medical practices in the areas of financial benchmarking, strategic planning, mergers, and employee management. Mr. Preece has experience as a practice administrator and as a regional manager for an ambulatory surgery center company. He is a frequent lecturer at national and state medical society meetings, and is an active author, having written dozens of articles for healthcare publications. Mr. Preece received his Bachelors degree in Communications and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Brigham Young University.
