The Academy recognized the transition to Electronic Health Records represents a major financial and cultural change for practices. This site is offered as an Academy/AAOE member benefit to help you with your research and to understand the Academy's resources available to you.

The site is divided into the following sections:

  5. ARRA Incentive Program
    The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 authorizes the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide reimbursement incentives for eligible professionals and hospitals who are successful in becoming “meaningful users” of certified electronic health record (EHR) technology.
