FACULTY

Nancy L. Perkins is a counsel in the Washington, D.C. law firm Arnold & Porter LLP. Ms. Perkins regularly advises clients on federal and state requirements for privacy and security of medical, financial, and electronic data. She has particular expertise in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act, as amended by the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act, and their implementing regulations. 

Marcus A. Asner is a partner in the white collar criminal defense practice group of Arnold & Porter LLP. Among other areas, Marcus has significant expertise in the areas of data breaches, cyber crime, and identity theft. Prior to joining Arnold & Porter, Marcus served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York (2000-2009), where he was the Chief of the Major Crimes and Computer Hacking/Intellectual Property Unit for two years (2007 to 2009).
