The Michael R. Redmond, MD Professionalism and Ethics Education Center and Endowment Fund was established in memory of esteemed Academy leader Michael Redmond, MD. The Center ensures that the Academy's efforts in promoting professionalism and ethics remain dynamic, comprehensive and relevant in an increasingly changing ophthalmic community. With an emphasis on providing better patient care, the Redmond Center's work includes development of educational courses and lectures, policies, opinions, guidelines and compendiums of professionalism and ethics-related information.
