Christie L. Morse, MD
Dr. Morse was elected as an at-large member of the Board of Trustees in 2008. Among the many positions Dr. Morse holds within the Academy are: vice chair of the Ethics Committee; member of the EyeNet editorial advisory board, Membership Advisory Committee, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Panel, Revitalization Study Group; Academy representative to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) ophthalmology section.
Dr. Morse received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina with a medical internship at the University of Massachusetts and a residency at Brown University, Rhode Island Hospital. Following her residency, she performed a pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus Fellowship at the Riley Children's Hospital of Indiana University.
Since moving to New Hampshire in 1991, she served as assistant professor of pediatrics and as assistant professor of surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon until 2000.
She has been a member of the New Hampshire Sight and Hearing Foundation Physician's Advisory Committee, the New England Ophthalmological Society, the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS), the International Strabistological Association, the New Hampshire Medical Society, the AMA and the AAP. Dr. Morse is frequently asked to speak on pediatric ophthalmology issues throughout New England. She also serves on the AAPOS board of directors.
At Concord Eye Care, Dr. Morse practices pediatric ophthalmology and specializes in adult strabismus and diplopia patients.
