The Council meets twice each year; in the fall in conjunction with the Academy's Annual Meeting and in the spring in conjunction with the Academy's Mid-Year Forum.

The last Council meeting was held April 11-12, 2008 in conjunction with the 2008 Mid-Year Forum.

The Fall Council Meeting will be held on Sunday, Nov. 9 at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in conjunction with the 2008 Joint Meeting in Atlanta, GA this November.

Semi-Annual Reports for the Fall Council Meeting -- Due Friday, Sept. 19, 2008. 

All Councilors are required to submit written semi-annual reports prior to each meeting about the activities of the societies they represent. Send all reports in the proper format via e-mail only (no mail or fax submissions) to council@aao.org.
