This video presents the "10 commandments" that phaco surgeons should follow in the management of posterior capsule rupture (PCR). A dreaded complication of cataract surgery, PCR can occur at any stage during cataract surgery, including hydrodissection, trenching, segment removal, cortex aspiration, and IOL implantation. Early recognition, combined with advances in instrumentation, has enabled effective management of PCR.
