    In advanced proliferative diabetic retinopathy, conventional three-port pars plana vitrectomy may lead to incomplete removal of fibrovascular membrane and is associated with bleeding and iatrogenic retinal breaks. This video shows bimanual vitrectomy in the eye of a diabetic patient with combined rhegmatogenous and traction retinal detachment.
