    Complications Make Me Feel Lonely

This video presents several complications during vitreoretinal surgery including Argus II implantation and tacking, diabetic tractional retinal detachments (TRD), glued IOL implantation combined with small-gauge pars plana vitrectomy (PPV), and complicated small-gauge PPV and rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) repair. The authors focus on an Argus II implant that turns into intraocular foreign body surgery when a tack is dislocated into the posterior pole, an IOL that is lost and dislocated into the posterior pole during glued-IOL implantation, a diabetic TRD that is complicated by a retinal tear, and subretinal perfluorocarbon during small-gauge PPV and RRD repair.
