Often Wavefront aberrometry appears complicated to cataract surgeons and is thought to be of use only to refractive surgeons and optical scientists. This video simplifies the understanding and applications of wavefront aberrometry in everyday clinical practice. The usefulness of wavefront aberrometry in different scenarios — including preoperative assessment, tackling unhappy patients, and diagnostic and management dilemmas for cataract surgeons — is discussed in a clinical case-based format.
