Join the Academy in Atlanta for our 2008 Joint Meeting with the European Society of Ophthalmology (SOE). The meeting will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center from Nov. 8 to 11. It will be preceded by Subspecialty Day from Nov. 7 to 8.

Members and nonmembers, reserve your housing and register now for the Joint Meeting, Subspecialty Day or Coding Camp.

Online registration closes Oct. 15. You will need to pick up your badge and meeting materials at Registration in Hall A-2 at the Georgia World Congress Center.

Opening Session Keynote Address
The Academy is pleased to announce Harvey V. Fineberg, MD, PhD, president of the Institute of Medicine, as this year's keynote speaker. Dr. Fineberg will give his keynote address, "Seeing the Future of Health Care," during the Opening Session on Sunday, Nov. 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Hall A-3 Session Room.

(Due to an unfortunate schedule conflict, Dr. Michael T. Osterholm will not be able to deliver the address this year.)
