Femtosecond Cataract Surgery for Nanophthalmos

Dr. Pedro Tana uses a femtosecond laser to perform cataract surgery on a patient with nanophthalmos and 360-degree posterior synechiae. After pars plana vitrectomy and mechanical pupil dilation, he proceeds to phacofragmentation using a Catalyst femtosecond laser, followed by phacoemulsification and implantation of a +53.0 D plate IOL.
