Drs. Manuel Domingues and colleagues show a novel approach to recenter and fixate a subluxated IOL. They bend the needle of a 10-0 polypropylene suture and recenter the dislocated IOL in the sulcus. A 25-gauge needle is used to make a flap on the anterior capsule for a microcapsulorhexis. The polypropylene suture is passed through the microcapsulorhexis under the haptic and through the original capsulorhexis. They conclude with a Siepser sliding knot.
