Drs. Sengupta and Khetan show how they managed the increased pressure within the capsule bag of a patient with a morgagnian cataract. After staining the anterior capsule with trypan blue under an air bubble, they inject viscoelastic to counteract the pressure on the capsule. A small puncture is made in the side of the anterior lens capsule, releasing the liquid cortex, relieving much of the pressure.
