Dr. Norihiko Yoshida presents a new IOL designed to make the scleral fixation technique easier to perform. The haptics curve into a u-shaped hook, making it easier to grasp and externalized them through the scleral incision. Once outside the eye the hooks act as anchors, preventing the haptics from reentering the eye.
