    Retropupillary Iris-Claw IOL Implantation in Children

    Dr. Enrico Bertelli demonstrates posterior enclavation of an iris claw IOL in a preschool-aged patient with Marfan syndrome. After phacoemulsification, he uses 2 vitreoretinal forceps to thoroughly remove the lens capsule. An iris claw lens is inserted into in the anterior chamber followed by fixation of the IOL behind the iris.
