Grand Prize Winner Suturing of capsular tension rings or segments can sometimes be a challenge. Maneuvering long, thin needles across the AC can be difficult and may also be associated with issues of stability in the long term with suture degradation. Dr. Soosan Jacob of India proposes a new technique of sutureless, trans-scleral fixation of the capsular bag using a glued capsular hook technique. The follow-up of the patients who have completed two years at present shows a well-centered IOL and well tucked-in hook seen transsclerally.
