I have myopia (nearsightedness) in both eyes and astigmatism (irregularly shaped cornea) in my left eye. Can I wear contact lenses without astigmatic correction?
In most cases you can safely wear contact lenses without astigmatic correction. Your vision would not be completely corrected so it might be blurrier than you might like or need for your activities. Sometimes this is done when the correct astigmatic contact lenses are not available.
