Ophthalmology practices that perform at least 20 cataract surgeries have until Aug. 1 to sign up for one of the easiest ways to participate in the Physician Quality Report System for 2015. Practices that don’t report for PQRS this year face future penalties on Medicare reimbursement. After Aug. 1, practices can only use manual data entry for individual measures reporting.
