Congressional Advocates Prepare to Meet with Legislators During August Recess
Face-to-face meetings are one of the most powerful ways to help legislators understand the challenges ophthalmologists face and how Congress’ decisions affect physicians and patients. The Academy’s congressional advocates will meet with federal legislators around the country next month, when the August recess work period begins.
