Sunshine Act Open Payments Data Release Sept. 30

On Sept. 30, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services will release information on health care industry payments to physicians and teaching hospitals as part of the Open Payments program, also known as the Sunshine Act. This is the first time that the data is being released.
