Dr. Glittenberg joins 19 participants chosen via a competitive selection process amongst an impressive field of nominees submitted by state, subspecialty and specialized interest societies. Participants in the LDP XI, Class of 2009 will begin the program with an Orientation Session held in conjunction with the 2008 Joint Meeting in Atlanta and will then have a two-and-a-half day interactive session in January 2009 in San Francisco. Both the Fall 2008 Orientation Session and the January 2009 Session will be held jointly with the Pan American Association of Ophthalmology’s Curso de Liderazgo and the European Society of Ophthalmology’s EuLDP participants. The AAO LDP XI participants will then meet for a session dedicated to Advocacy in conjunction with the Academy's 2009 Mid-Year Forum in Washington, D.C., April 22 to 25, 2009.
