Following an update of the WHO Global Action Plan for the Prevention of Blindness, a panel of international experts will present the latest trends in international eye care development, including key issues for in-depth programming. A second panel will provide information and describe experiences for young ophthalmologists who are becoming involved in international eye care. Audience participation in Q&A sessions with the panelists is planned, as well as a tea and cookies break for informal interaction.
