Congratulations to Dennis S.C. Lam, MD, and Stefan Seregard, MD
Drs. Lam and Seregard have been appointed to serve a one-year term as international advisors on the Academy's Board of Trustees (the organization's primary governing body). They attended their first meeting in February (pictured below).
The international advisors will attend BOT meetings and will advise on relevant topics or issues, in order to provide a global perspective. Read their bios:
The BOT selected selected two advisors to serve from two of the five supranational regions. In 2011, new advisors will be selected from two of the remaining three regions.
