Post refractive IOL calculation continues to be a challenge. But in a patient population used to seeing 20/20 uncorrected, it’s a challenge surgeons must meet to ensure good cataract surgery outcomes. In this interview from ASCRS 2015, Dr. Anat Galor offers tips for hitting target refraction in post-refractive patients. To improve her outcomes, she uses the ASCRS online calculator, which was recently updated to include more information on astigmatism, and intraoperative aberrometry. Dr. Galor also discusses how to incorporate this new method of “on the table” biometry into your practice.
