In this interview from the ASRS 2013 Annual Meeting, Dr. Jonathan Prenner shares a novel technique for the rescue of a subluxed or dislocated IOL. The minimally invasive technique is based on an anterior segment procedure, combined with the surgical instrumentation and skill set unique to the posterior segment surgeon. It requires no sutures, scleral flaps, or fibrin glue. A case series in press details how this technique was used successfully in patients with a dislocated lens bag complex and capsular tension ring.
