Subspecialty Day runs concurrently with the ISRS Annual Meeting. It is a two-day course that provides a comprehensive update of developments in refractive, cornea, cataract and lens-based surgery, with an emphasis on managing and avoiding complications.

Abstract Submission
In addition to invited lecturers with presentations from leaders around the world, there will also be an opportunity for you to be a part of the program by bringing forth your innovative ideas for inclusion on the program. ISRS is putting out a call for your abstracts, papers and e-posters, summarizing your own innovative ideas in refractive surgery and cataracts.

The deadline for submissions is 19 June 2013. Abstracts must be written and submitted by the author. Abstracts written and submitted by industry personnel on behalf of a doctor are not allowed.
Submit an Abstract
There will be a session comprised solely of free papers that will run concurrently with the Refractive Surgery Subspecialty Day meeting on Friday, 15 November 2013 on the topic of "Innovations in Refractive Surgery."
ISRS will be accepting abstracts for the podium-only paper session on 15 November and electronic posters (e-poster) presentations. The e-posters will be preloaded on a computer using PowerPoint slides. The slides will be limited to six per e-poster. Attendees will have the opportunity to view e-posters on computers outside the session room throughout the meeting.
Note: The Academy does not permit attendance by optometrists or participation by optometrists as a presenting/senior author. Any outline/presentation submitted with an optometrist listed as Senior Author/Instructor will not be accepted for presentation. An optometrist may be listed as a co-author on a paper/poster abstract.
