Subspecialty Day
This year's Subspecialty Day meetings will include two-day programs on retina and refractive surgery and one-day programs on cornea, glaucoma, pediatric ophthalmology and uveitis.

Subspecialty Day Corporate Partners Corporate Partners will be recognized on slides in the session rooms, in the Advance Program, Pocket Guide, Final Program and Subspecialty Day Guide and on the Academy's Web site.

SUBSPECIALTY DAY PENS - RESERVED
Provide 7,500 pens to Subspecialty Day meeting attendees. Place your company name and/or logo on pens to be distributed near the Subspecialty Day syllabi counters.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE OPPORTUNITIES
Select a Subspecialty Day food and beverage function to support. The 2008 Cornea, Glaucoma, Pediatric Ophthalmology, Refractive Surgery, Retina, and Uveitis Subspecialty Day meetings are expected to reach a total attendance of 7,500. Throughout the day, attendees will gather together for meals. Your company name and logo will be displayed on signage recognizing your company’s support.

Joint Meeting
Joint Meeting Corporate Partners Corporate Partners will be recognized on slides before all sessions; in the Advance Program, Pocket Guide, Pocket Guide Floorplan and Final Program; and on the Academy's Web site. The Academy publicizes the locations of AAO Communication Central, Meeting E-Guide and E-Abstracts, Wi-Fi HotSpots, International Center, Relaxation Station and Scientific Posters Coffee Service in many of our pre-show communications to attendees.

PLATINUM CIRCLE SPONSORSHIP
Provide educational support for the Academy’s Annual Meeting by participating as a Platinum Circle Sponsor. Your company’s support will help the Academy fulfill its mission of advancing the education of ophthalmologists. Commercial supporter benefits include signage throughout the convention center, a custom sign at the company’s booth, Corporate Donor Wall listing, and platinum ribbons for company representatives. In addition, the Platinum Circle Sponsor is entitled to the option of either four complimentary Subspecialty Day registrations or a meeting room within the convention center (available daily after 5:30 p.m.). AAO Communication Central internet stations
AAO COMMUNICATION CENTRAL (PDF 84K)
Thirty (30) Internet stations will be located in the Technology Pavilion, at your company’s booth and in the convention center lobby, allowing attendees to access the Internet and e-mail, to leave or retrieve messages with fellow attendees through the Message Center feature and to access the Virtual Exhibition. The supporting company’s corporate or product logo, booth number and a link to the company’s Web site will be prominently displayed on the computer screen as attendees check their messages and on signage at each location. AAO Communication Central will be available on the Academy’s Web site prior to the Joint Meeting, increasing your company’s exposure. In 2007, there were 18,007 logins during the meeting. This is an excellent opportunity to drive traffic to your booth and Web site.

AIRPORT BAGGAGE CLAIM BANNERS (PDF 76K)
Make a first impression by advertising your welcome message to attendees on five banners that will be hung in the baggage claim area of the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport. Each banner can include the sponsoring company’s logo, one product name, booth number, 2008 Joint Meeting logo and a welcome message. Artwork is subject to airport approval.

CONVENTION CENTER LOBBY BANNERS - RESERVED
Maximize your exposure at the Georgia World Congress Center by hanging a welcome banner in the convention center’s lobby. Place up to two products per banner in addition to your welcome message.

ESCALATOR DECALS - RESERVED
Place specially designed company decals on the escalator medians at the Georgia World Congress Center. These escalators will transport thousands of attendees each day and the decals will be highly visible.

EXPOCARDS - RESERVED
ExpoCards are distributed to all Joint Meeting and Subspecialty Day attendees and contain attendee information for lead retrieval and easy reporting of CME credits. Your company logo will be printed on these magnetic stripe cards. Every time an attendee uses their card, they will see your logo.

HIGHLIGHTERS - RESERVED
Place your company name and logo on a highlighter pen that will be distributed to all attendees when they pick up their meeting materials onsite at the Bags and Programs counter. The exhibiting company can choose the type of highlighter with the Academy’s approval.

HOTEL KEYCARDS - RESERVED
The supporting company will provide customized keycards for disbursement to all Joint Meeting attendees staying at several hotels with the largest room blocks. Your company will have exclusive rights to the printing of the hotel keycards at these premium Atlanta hotels.

INTERNATIONAL CENTER (PDF 185K)
The Center provides a place for international attendees to meet, relax and receive Joint Meeting and Atlanta assistance. Your company’s name and logo will appear on signage in the lounge. Hundreds of international attendees visit the International Center each year. You also have the option to supply company logo-labeled cups and napkins. The Center is staffed with multi-lingual personnel.

JOINT MEETING BAGS - RESERVED
All professional attendees will receive this bag, which can display up one logo (company and/or product logo) with the official 2008 Joint Meeting logo. 15,000 professional participants will carry this bag during the Joint Meeting and long after the meeting closes. Reservation deadline is July 1.

NOTEBOOKS - RESERVED
All professional attendees will receive this useful and attractive notebook for all of their Joint Meeting notes. This notebook will have your company name and screened back logo printed on all interior pages of the book, as well as advertisements on three covers.

MEETING E-ABSTRACTS (PDF 46K)
Attendees will be able to beam abstracts from the 2008 Joint Meeting’s Scientific Program to a PDA device. Beaming stations will be available in the Academy’s Technology Pavilion and at your booth. Your company’s name and logo will appear on the Meeting E-Abstract’s program and on signage next to the beaming stations. This highly sought-after information will be a draw to your booth and will be accessed well after the meeting.

Meeting E-Guide PDA beaming stations
MEETING E-GUIDE - RESERVED
Attendees will be able to beam the 2008 Meeting E-Guide, containing valuable meeting information, to their PDA devices from beaming stations at the Technology Pavilion and at your booth. Your company’s name and logo will appear on the application and on signage next to all beaming stations. Take advantage of pre-show marketing and announce this feature in your booth, which is sure to attract attendees.

Advertise on a folder that will be sent to all Joint Meeting registrants before the meeting. This folder will be used by attendees to carry all of their pre-meeting materials and collateral collected.

RELAXATION STATION (PDF 75K)
The Relaxation Station, located on the Exhibit Hall floor, is a popular spot, busy 99 percent of the time. With an average wait of 15 minutes, attendees can spend time reviewing your company’s materials. The Relaxation Station is equipped with massage chairs, therapists, a greeter and waiting chairs.
$25,000 plus the cost of shirts, voucher tickets, and additional marketing services or decorations.

SCIENTIFIC POSTERS COFFEE SERVICE - RESERVED
Provide coffee to attendees gathered each morning to view the Scientific Posters from 9 a.m. to noon, Sunday, Nov. 9, to Tuesday, Nov. 11. Your company’s name and logo will appear on signage and your company has the option to supply company logo-labeled coffee cups and napkins at an additional cost.

SHUTTLE BUS PANELS & HEADRESTS (PDF 64K)
Achieve maximum exposure with advertisements on the exterior of the Academy shuttle buses running the duration of the meeting -- from Friday, Nov. 7, to Tuesday, Nov. 11. Your advertising message will be prominently displayed on buses traveling around Atlanta. Upgrade a shuttle bus panel package by adding custom-designed seat headrests. There are four shuttle bus panel packages available.

WATER STATIONS - EXHIBIT HALL - RESERVED
Supply 8,000 logo-labeled water bottles that will be distributed to attendees at the entrances to Hall B from Nov. 8 to 10. Water bottles will be displayed with signage opportunities and distributed by catering personnel. For a “green” alternative, water coolers with logo covers will be positioned at each station along with logo-labeled containers that attendees will keep and refill during and after the meeting.

Wi-Fi Hotspot
Wi-Fi HOTSPOT (PDF 196K)
Providing attendees secure, fast and reliable wireless connectivity, the Wi-Fi HotSpot, located on the exhibit hall floor, runs at capacity during the meeting. The Wi-Fi HotSpot allows attendees to connect their laptops or wireless PDAs to the Internet. Your company’s name and logo will appear on the start-up screen and on signage in the area. Custom-built tables will include up to two product logos. Two Wi-Fi HotSpot locations in the hall.
$30,000 per location or $2,500 per table.

“YOU ARE HERE” EXHIBIT HALL MAPS - RESERVED
Ten “You Are Here” exhibit hall maps will be placed in key locations on the exhibit hall floor. Each sign will have a view of the exhibit hall floor, as well as the most up-to-date Exhibitor List to take away. The maps will include your company logo and booth number. Lists can accommodate two product advertisements.

Virtual Exhibition
The Academy’s Virtual Exhibition (PDF 797K) is the premier resource to search companies that will be at the 2008 Joint Meeting. Attendees will be accessing this online tool starting in August and it will remain on the Academy’s Web site for two months after the meeting. Increase traffic to both your booth and your Web site while maximizing your company’s exposure at the meeting.

The Academy will provide all exhibitors with a Standard Digital Booth Package at no charge. Package includes: a business card, categories, two booth contacts and a 25-word company profile.
