2012 Mid-Year Forum
The 2012 Mid-Year Forum was held in Washington, DC April 25 to 28. This annual forum provides an opportunity for Academy members, leaders and leaders of allied ophthalmic organizations to identify and discuss critical issues facing ophthalmology.

In conjunction with the Mid-Year Forum, Congressional Advocacy Day provides an opportunity for Academy members to be educated about legislative issues relevant to the Academy and the ophthalmic profession.

2012 Congressional Advocacy Day Photo and Story Contest
Share your Advocacy Day stories and upload your best photos to the Academy Online Community for a chance to win a Canon digital camera or one of two vouchers toward Academy products. Review details and competition rules. Deadline for submissions is May 11.

2012 Joint Meeting
Join the Academy in Chicago Nov. 10 - 13 for our fourth Joint Meeting with the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO). The meeting will be preceded by Subspecialty Day, Nov. 9 and 10.
