Mid-Year Forum

Mid-Year Forum Overview

The 2014 Mid-Year Forum was held from April 9 to 12 in Washington, D.C.  This annual forum provides an opportunity for Academy members, leaders and leaders of allied ophthalmic organizations to identify and discuss critical issues facing ophthalmology. The 2015 Mid-Year Forum will be held from April 15 to 18 at the new Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C.

Congressional Advocacy Day
Advocacy Day 2014 will be held April 9 to 10 in conjunction with the Mid-Year Forum. During Congressional Advocacy Day, Academy members will be educated about legislative issues relevant to the Academy and the ophthalmic profession. Academy members will meet with their U.S. senators and representatives to present the concerns and positions of the Academy and the profession.
