Membership and involvement in state ophthalmology societies empowers Academy members in state and local communities.

While the Academy does not have state or local chapters, it works with state ophthalmic societies to develop and implement programs that benefit the profession of ophthalmology and that benefit eye health care.

Contact the state ophthalmology society in your state to learn more about how you can get involved, or view a list of upcoming State Society meetings. State society leaders and staff can view a variety of resources for their use in expanding the society's efforts.
