The success of the Academy depends, in part, on the valuable service contributions and volunteer efforts of its members. There are several ways to contribute your time to the Academy:
Committees – Under the direction of the secretariats, committees develop and implement specific programs that address the long-range objectives of the Academy. The Academy has over one hundred active committees that are managed by Academy volunteers.
Peer Reviewer for Ophthalmology – If you would like to review and evaluate manuscripts for publication, visit http://ees.elsevier.com/ophtha and click on the "register" button at the top of the page. Complete all contact information as well as "personal classifications" under the section "Areas of interest and expertise."
