Advance orders for the 2006 – 2007 edition begin June 10
SAN FRANCISCO—The American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Basic Clinical and Science Course, the perfect complement to the BCSC print edition, is now available on CD-ROM. The CD version features search, highlighting, note taking and bookmarking. Advance orders begin June 10.
Offering the same 13 sections as the 2006-2007 print edition, the CD version provides more than 5000 pages and 3000 images in a convenient, searchable format. It includes reference links to PubMed, an interactive self-assessment program and an easy-to-use credit reporting process, with 30 to 40 category 1 CME credits per section. It is Windows PC compatible.
Each year all volumes are updated and three undergo major revisions by a faculty of 75 leading ophthalmologists in academia and practice. The 2006-2007 revised volumes are: Section 1: Update on General Medicine; Section 6: Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus; and Section 8: External Disease and Cornea.
