    The AAOE® Board of Directors welcomes you to AAO 2023 and shares their advice for first-time attendees:

    Preparing for the Conference

    • Register and confirm your hotel reservation.
    • Join the AAOE-Talk Community to network with your peers before the meeting.
    • What to pack: 1. business cards 2. portable device chargers 3. two pairs of comfortable walking shoes and 4. a sweater or layered clothing for hot or cold meeting rooms and hotels.

    Getting There

    Meeting Essentials

    • The Mobile Meeting Guide is the source for the latest meeting information, course handouts and evaluations. 
    • Academy Staff (wearing red badge ribbons) can help answer basic conference-related questions.
    • Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the conference.
    • Do not wear your name tag outside the Moscone Center.
    • Remember to use the AAOE Networking Lounge.

    Visit the Exhibit Floor

    • Plan to visit the Academy exhibit floor to find the latest ophthalmic products and equipment.
    • Save 10 percent when you purchase Academy products at the Academy Resource Center during the meeting (Moscone West, Resource Center, Booth 7537).

    Connect With Colleagues

    Visit the AAOE Networking Lounge

    Relax and reconnect with fellow practice managers, administrators and ophthalmologists in the AAOE Networking Lounge. (Moscone South, 216).

    Saturday, Nov. 4, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
    Sunday, Nov. 5, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
    Monday, Nov. 6, 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

    AAOE Member Reception

    Chat with fellow members, connect in person with your AAOE-Talk colleagues and meet the AAOE board members and staff. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served. No reservation needed.
