EyeSmart Highlights Decorative Lens Dangers

With Halloween around the corner, it may be only a matter of weeks before you see patients with eye infections or worse caused by decorative contact lenses they bought without a prescription. To address this public-health problem, the Academy is working with several organizations to educate the public about the dangers presented by improperly used or acquired decorative lenses. To help physicians educate their own patients and broader communities, the Academy has created several FREE resources you can use, including a poster and PowerPoint presentations customized for both parent and teen audiences. > View resources
