BLINK

The answer to this month’s mystery image:

Fresh Laser Scar

A 39-year-old woman with no prior medical problems complained of acute, painless, blurred vision in her left eye over one week. BCVA was 20/25 in the right eye and count fingers at one foot in the left. There was no relative afferent pupillary defect. Funduscopy revealed a choroidal neovascular membrane secondary to central serous chorioretinopathy. She was treated with Krypton red focal laser, 41 burns at 100 micrometer spot size, 0.5 second duration. This photograph was taken 10 minutes after treatment.
