Presumed Ocular Histoplasmosis With Choroidal Neovascular Membrane

A 58-year-old woman came in complaining of two weeks of metamorphopsia in the left eye accompanied by gray-black round spots in the vision of the same eye. The other eye had peripheral punched-out retinal lesions. She was treated with a combination of transpupillary thermotherapy to the choroidal neovascular membrane and intravitreal Kenalog (triamcinolone acetonide) in the right eye.
