A 58-year-old male patient complained of sudden loss of central vision. Fundus examination revealed a large blisterlike elevation at the posterior pole containing a dense crescentic hemorrhage. The midphase fluorescein angiogram revealed a hyperfluorescent retinal arterial macroaneurysm. The angiogram also showed bowing of the retinal capillaries over the blister, which contained subinternal limiting membrane plasma at its upper part and precipitated red blood cells at its base.
