Go YO at the Annual Meeting

MoreIssue Index | Related Articles

New ophthalmologists are faced with a myriad of choices in the transition from training to practice. The Young Ophthalmologist Committee, along with select practice management consultants, will share their own experience and expertise at the Young Ophthalmologists' Program on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007, at the American Academy of Ophthalmology's Annual Meeting in New Orleans.

Not only will you have an opportunity to meet and talk to other young ophthalmologists facing similar challenges, but you'll also hear from practicing physicians, including Academy President Charles P. Wilkinson, MD, on a wide variety of topics, from advocacy and starting a practice to marketing, networking and insurance.

There will also be presentations from ophthalmic industry experts on topics of interest to all new ophthalmologists, such as coding, contracts and negotiating a buy-in. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about those issues that are of particular interest to you.
