Dr. Eduardo Viteri and colleagues share a case of undiagnosed von Hippel-Lindau syndrome that presented with visual symptoms and required ICU care. Key fundoscopy signs and the importance of systemic workup, including full body metabolic imaging, are highlighted. The surgeons use chandelier-assisted transconjunctival cryotherapy with a 3D heads-up view and intraoperative OCT (iOCT) to treat all of the patient's hemangioblastomas, irrespective of size and with adequate tissue ablation.
