    Circumferential Corneal Graft

    Cornea/External Disease

Drs. Jessica Kraker, Keith Baratz, and Ashlie Bernhisel tackle a perikeratoprosthesis defect in a 70-year-old patient with ocular cicatricial pemphigoid via a circumferential corneal patch graft. Around the prosthesis was a nasal area of thinning that was Seidel-positive with pressure. The patient also had a buccal membrane graft; the nasal aspect of this graft was elevated and a small piece of lamellar corneal donor tissue was tucked under the conjunctiva for structural reinforcement of the thinned area.
