    Cataract/Anterior Segment, Femtosecond Laser Surgery

In this 1-Minute Video, Dr. Ashley Brissette describes how to use femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery (FLACS) for white cataracts. White cataracts pose a challenge to the surgeon as they are at high risk for capsule rupture, high phacoemulsification energy and zonular instability. Using femtosecond laser to create the anterior capsulorhexis can provide increased safety in these patients, she explains.
