In this 1-Minute Video, Dr. Jay Sridhar demonstrates modified Yamane rescue of a dislocated iris-sutured lens. He clips the 1 intact iris suture, removes the residual Soemmering ring and hands off the lens through the superior trocar. Once the haptics are externalized, he creates a flange using low-temperature cautery. The patient achieved 20/25 uncorrected VA by postop day 1 and remained stable for 1 year.
