In this 1-Minute Video, Dr. Julian Perry shares pearls for using neurotoxins to achieve a natural brow contour. The traditional tactic of delivering a small amount of botox to the lateral orbicularis muscle can elevate the lateral brow in a way that resembles the eyebrows of Star Trek character Spock. To achieve a more natural brow contour, Dr. Perry recommends injecting small aliquots (0.5-1.0 unit) of neurotoxin across the entire length of the eyebrow. This weakens the muscle along its full horizontal extent and creates a natural-appearing arch.
