Pearls for Managing Angle-Closure Glaucoma

In this 1-Minute Video, Dr. Ron Fellman discusses how to manage angle-closure glaucoma. The clinical presentation can often help guide management. If an older patient comes in with an attack in one eye while the fellow eye is narrow, the clinician should suspect pupillary block. If a patient has angle closure in one eye but the fellow eye is deep, then it may be a unilateral problem.
