    Retina/Vitreous, Vitreoretinal Surgery

In this 1-Minute Video, Drs. Jay Sridhar and Sunir Garg describe a technique for instilling perfluorocarbon (PFO) in cases with a retinectomy. After creating a large inferior retinectomy, PFO is instilled to tamponade the edges. The eye should be tilted superiorly to reduce the risk of subretinal PFO, and the PFO stream is directed away from the macula. Endolaser is applied to end the case.
